"You can't enter and seat down by the table before 13.15h, the service is basic, maybe even a bit rude BUT IT IS ALL WORTH IT just to try the real FABULOUS TASTE of Puglia. Because I just had 1/2h for lunch, I had the simplest dish - "fave e cicorie" but his secret is in its preparation and it's tezture also. It is a truly homemade in traditional way food that you can't not enjoy! On top of everything the prices are just unbelievably low"

"Everything was delicious! We tried almost everything on the menu, starting with the delicious appetizers, continuing with their fresh fritto misto, spaghetti alla carbonara, fresh pasta with seafood, ending with the local orrechiette with horse ragu and the horse meat as a plate. I can tell you that everything was mouthwatering… and the wine was fantastic. Domenico and his brother are making a great job! I can’t wait to go back to the heart of barese food! Thank you guys! Definitely worth it!"

"Great service and authentic local food. The Spaghetti all’assassina were outstanding and the best pasta I’ve had in Bari so far. I can’t understand the bad reviews regarding the service at all. The staff is very friendly and dedicatedly caters for their customers."

"We had a delicious dinner meal here. Our host Nicola was very warm and gracious. We had a delicious antipasto served in a number of plates. We really enjoyed the sea bass. We are planning to return as the food is the beat we found in Bari thus far."

"Delicious traditional Pugliese food. Recommended for people who want to stay aside from the touristic propositions and to try authentic cuisine. Keep in mind that the size of the meals is big (yet, the beer offered is small)."

"Hands down a great authentic barese food spot. Sunday lunch, is prix fixed, abundant and tasty. Reservations mandatory as it’s always full. Authentic, unpretentious and delicious."

"Most of the complaints here are solely on service. Service for us was great. It’s a no frills restaurant, with a small kitchen. This is why most of the pasta dishes require a minimum of “2 portions.” All dishes are traditional Barese, and all we had were fantastic."
